A Legend Has Passed, RIP Dr. Wayne Dyer
When I saw the news on Facebook last night, I let out a gasp and tears filled my eyes. Dr. Wayne W. Dyer, passed in his sleep on Aug 29th. He was 75. His family has not shared the details of his death, but based on the fact that he was planning his upcoming I Can Do It program, and had a cruise scheduled for the fall, it was completely unexpected.
Perhaps he knew that his time to move on the next realm, as he posted this on his Facebook page on Aug 27th:
‘I have a suit in my closet with the pocket cut out. It’s a reminder to me that I won’t be taking anything with me. The last I wear won’t need any pockets.’
Dr. Dyer affected millions of us around the world. He was such a brilliant light and his voice was so soothing, gentle and kind. I have read so many of his books and listened to many of his audio programs as well as his many Hay House Radio sessions.
‘Excuses Begone’ audio book was what I listened to back in 2011 when I first achieved Gold Director status in USANA.
‘Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life’ was the book I read daily while writing my own book, 30 Days of Gratitude.
‘Wishes Fulfilled’ audio book was in my car for months and the story about how his knee pain disappeared while on his trip to visit sacred holy sites inspired me to work on healing my own body.
‘The Shift’ movie helped me to understand my own feelings about God and how we are all truly interconnected.
‘I Can See Clearly Now’ book was a beautiful auto-biography that I read in a weekend (and it’s almost 400 pages).
‘I Am’ children’s book (I have a copy in English and in French) it what I have been reading to my daughter for several years to help her understand God.
Gratitude Tip: Live every day is if it were your last. Make the most out of the moments, even the difficult ones. Find gratitude in the smallest details of your day. And know that when your time comes, there is nothing to fear.
Rest in peace, Wayne. Your legacy lives on.
