Just on my way to have some me time! Really enjoying this part of the 28 Day Total Body Detox. Today I enjoyed a different experience for lunch. I visited The Naked Sprout – a vegan café here in Burlington. I have had lunch there before, but this time I tried one of the raw dishes, Zany Zucchini Pasta. For a raw meal, it was quite tasty. I was curious about the zucchini “pasta” as I had read about it in the Food Matters Detox and Rejuvenation Guide (love this BTW and recommend it highly!). I’m not sure it is something that I would make at home, but certainly an interesting treat.
My favorite dish so far though, are the Twisted Tacos. Yummy! Making the change to a vegan and raw diet can be a big challenge, and it’s not really something that I am interested in doing, but I know for some people, this way of eating has changed their lives. Check out Oh She Glows – a great food blog with endless vegan recipes and treats! And she has a wonderful way of writing and inspiring her blog followers.
I also wanted to mention that my best friend, Lee-Anne Chase, has also started blogging her journey on the 28 Day Total Body Detox. It’s great to see that others are embracing this concept of taking 28 days to focus on YOU!!!
