So how am I feeling so far? Things are definitely different in terms of my digestion and energy (except when my daughter doesn’t sleep – as in last night). I’m not ready to share all of the effects just yet, but I have really noticed that my stomach hardly ever cramps up after I eat.

Today’s detox tip: When you are focusing on taking care of your detoxify organs, such as your liver, your lungs and your skin, it’s important  to eat your greens!! Some key fruits and veggies include:

  • Celery
  • Baby spinach
  • Lemon
  • Beet root
  • Parsley
  • Ginger
  • Garlic
  • Shiitake mushrooms
  • Radishes
  • Bok Choy
  • Yellow and Red Bell Peppers (Capsicum)
  • Onions
  • Rocket Leaves (Arugula)
  • Broccoli
  • Cauliflower
  • Cucumber
  • Carrots
  • Apples
  • Yellow or Pink Grapefruits
  • Cardamom pods

Many of these can be eaten raw, added to smoothies and green drinks and steamed or stir-fried with coconut oil or grapeseed oil.  You’ve probably already guessed that my favorite is arugula! What is your favorite green? Favorite fruit? Check in below!
