I’ve definitely gotten into the swing of things with this 28 Day Total Body Detox.  I think it’s time I reveal my secret weapon though.  I love chocolate as much as the next person, but after eating my body weight in Eggies last month (close enough) I thought taking a break from chocolate would be important. I noticed, however, that my favorite healthy low-glycemic snack bars were listed under snacks.  Thank-you Laura Ashley Townsend, RHN!

I absolutely love USANA’s Peanut Butter Nutrition Bars. They are certified low-glycemic, gluten free, 190 calories per bar with 10 g of protein. And they taste GREAT!! Guilt-free snacking on the go for sure.  These aren’t included in the packages for the 28 Day Total Body Detox – but nothing’s stopping you from ordering a couple of boxes. Just saying.

It’s true that I have a slight obsession with peanut butter – but it has to be the natural kind, organic is even better. True, almond butter would be a better choice, but life is too short to give up peanut butter and healthy, antioxidant loaded 70% dark chocolate.  Wine I can do without for 28 days … but peanut butter bars just make me smile.  And they are super convenient if I’m out on the road during the day.
