Now that we are halfway through 2016, and I have finished my official one year of gratitude blog posts, who’s ready to join me in bigger and bigger dreams and goals? Do you find that you are limiting your success because you’re not dreaming big enough? What would start to happen in your life if you decided to grow the size of your vision? Would you like to find out?

Gratitude Tip: What we focus on expands. And when we decide to focus on something that is big and bold and a little bit scary, our focus is on massive expansion. What an amazing opportunity for gratitude, as we live in a time when we can create the space to dream BIGGER than ever before and our world will respond in kind. Stay grounded in simple daily gratitude and watch how more and more amazing opportunities show up when we’ve expanded our vision.

Today is Day 30 of the 40 Day Prayer Challenge. A few weeks ago, one of the daily lessons from the book was about asking for outrageous dreams and goals. When we ask God for something in prayer that is so massive that we cannot do it ourselves, it’s a wonderful opportunity for us to glorify his name. Because when we do achieve what we’ve set out to do, we share the credit with God, knowing that we could not have done it without him. I know that when I achieved a big business goal in April, it was not something I did alone. Yes, my earthly team was a HUGE part of my success, and so was my heavenly team. You may chooses to use a different name for God, such as Source or the Universe, but what I have found in my own life is that grounding my faith in God and the Bible has allowed me to manifest more and more amazing things every single day.

Every day I have been praying for God to bring me the right people at the right time in order to reach my very BIG goal in the next 12 months. When you have a big goal in mind, you will need help and support from a team here on earth in order to succeed. Praying for the right people to come out way can be very powerful, and then it’s up to us to keep our eyes open for those people. When you decide to focus on a BIG goal, it will feel uncomfortable at first, and the more and more you continue to move forward, the more natural it will feel that you will achieve it.

What happens if you fail along the way? Not much – if you choose not to let it set you back. Failures and mistakes are our biggest lessons and many times they are intentionally on our path to provide us the growth that we need in our to reach our BIG goals. Look at it this way, if you were already the person you had to be to complete your goal, you would have already done it. So it’s assumed that there will be setback and challenges along the way. That’s a normal part of success. It’s not the opposite of success, it’s an integral part of success.

Today I encourage you to dust off your goals sheet or vision board for 2016 and take a look at what you’ve accomplished so far. Review and change your goals – not to make them smaller – but to make them even bigger! Push yourself into that zone of discomfort and see what comes up. And ask for guidance in prayer if you’re not sure where to go. Open to sharing your goals? Post in the comments and I’ll be cheering you on.
