Today’s Thankful Thursday episode is a very special one, as I had the opportunity to invite two wonderful guests to join me! Last night I was at an education and information evening at Kelly’s Bake Shoppe, here in downtown Burlington. Founded by the mother and daughter team of Kelly Childs and Erinn Weatherbie, it’s my favorite place to go for sweet HEALTHY treats! Believe it or not, they are vegan and gluten-free and they will knock your socks off!! Check out my instagram feed for more cupcake pics. My 3 year old and I visit often, she even has her favorite stool by the window.Kelly and Erinn openly shared personal stories with us, their journey to becoming vegan, great recipe ideas and other vegan food product tips. They even spoiled us with cookie and tea! We had a surprise visit from Mike, the GM of Lettuce Love Cafe (formerly KindFood) who had green smoothies for all!
