How do we instill gratitude habits in our children? What are the possible benefits for us and for them? And as parents, how do we find gratitude in situations where our children aren’t listening or behaving badly? In this week’s Thankful Thursday video, I’ll be sharing some tips on helping your children to build their own gratitude practice at any age! Following that, I’ll share some ideas on how to find gratitude in the most challenging situations with your children.

Children can learn to be grateful starting at any age. Try waking up and saying thanks together!

When our children aren’t listening, count to 10 & remind yourself that you are grateful they are alive & healthy.

And tonight, before you head to bed, write down a list of at least ten things you are grateful for, for each of your children. Keep the list close by and review it when they are not behaving well.
