How do you connect to God or Source on a daily basis? What are you doing to keep yourself plugged into the divine? How could your life change if you spent even an extra 5 or 10 minutes a day connecting through meditation or prayer? Over the next 21 days, you’ll have the opportunity to do that for free with the latest Oprah & Deepak Meditation Challenge.
Gratitude Tip: We are all connected on an energetic level. This is why it is so important to treat all other human beings with love, kindness, respect and gratitude. Making eye contact with a stranger and seeing God in their eyes is so incredibly powerful. It’s also essential that we take a few moments of each day to connect with God or Source energy; this unlimited, all powerful source is what gives us limitless abilities to create the life we choose.
Have you ever done one of the Oprah & Deepak meditation challenges? This one is called Getting Unstuck: Creating a Limitless Life. It’s absolutely free, and you can listen from their website or download a free app. The meditation is streaming however so you will need wifi or data in order to listen. I have been listening to these meditation challenges for years and have purchased a few to listen to when there isn’t a free challenge.
There are many ways to listen to the meditation. You can simply sit quietly and listen. One year I was away at the cottage and would take my yoga mat down to the dock and sit by the water to listen. You can also listen while lying down, as you first wake up. The challenge here is not to fall asleep, however it wouldn’t be a big deal if you did. Another option is a walking meditation, such as a Labyrinth. What I like to do is listen to the introduction first (usually 5-6 min) while walking and then sit in the center of the Labyrinth during the meditation part. And lastly, on days where I have a bit less time, I will do my morning walk while listening to the entire 20 minute session, doing my best to repeat the mantra while continuing to walk.
A guided meditation is a great way to connect to God or Source energy. It helps us to focus on one thing at a time, and a mantra (‘a word or sound repeated to aid concentration in meditation’) keeps us on track. This mantra can be repeated throughout the day. Also one of the wonderful benefits of doing this 21-Day Meditation Challenge is that we are doing it alongside hundreds of thousands of people (maybe millions!) across the globe at the SAME time!! Our world needs this kind of positive energy and love right now. There has never been a better time to do a global meditation experience. Will you join us? http://bit.ly/1d3DwT3
