There is a big change coming for our neighbors to the south this week. There will be a new President elected and from what I have been reading, neither candidate ‘seems‘ to be a great choice to run the most powerful country in the world. So, how can we all win, no matter who is elected? By focusing on our personal actions and energy, that’s how.
Gratitude Tip: The one thing we are in control of is our own personal energy and leadership. We may not be able to control the outcome of who is elected (voting helps if you are a US citizen) however we can choose where to focus our energy. The more energy we focus on negative content about the person we don’t want to be elected, the more energy they receive and the more attention is drawn to the them. Choose gratitude instead. Gratitude to have the right to vote freely for the party or candidate of your choice. Gratitude to focus on lifting each other up rather than dragging each other down. Gratitude that no matter what is happening on the outside, we are always in control of what is happening on the inside.
Whatever the outcome is, around 50% of the US population will be upset. And all of that negative energy could make the situation a lot worse than it needs to be. It’s much like pouring gasoline on a fire, it’s only going to make things a lot worse by complaining or being angry that the person you supported did not win the election. I’d love to share with you some of the strategies that we can all use to help us all to win the election, no matter what – and no matter where you live.
First, keep your energy in a positive vibration as much as possible. It will be shocking no matter the result and people will be upset. Choose not to get swept into the wave of negativity and focus on gratitude, abundance and love instead. Know that even though it may seem like the end of the world, chances are that things will not change immediately and that your energy – positive or negative – will affect what happens next.
Next, send love and gratitude to those who voted for your opponent. Allow them the respect for their ideas and ideals that they believed are best represented by their candidate – even if you don’t agree. The true nature of a democracy is that we all have the chance to vote for the candidate that best represents what we stand for. And that might not always be an easy decision, often neither candidate seems to uphold what we stand for. The best thing we can do is respect that others have different viewpoints and in a democracy, we all have the chance to vote for who best represents us.
Third, meditate. It’s no coincidence that the Oprah & Deepak 21 Meditation Experience started last week. They know that by meditation as a global family, we can shift the energy of the world towards more harmony and peace. Meditation can change the world in a positive way as it helps us to focus our energy and create more space in our lives for quiet and reflection. The name of the meditation is Creating Peace from the Inside Out: The Power of Connection.
And lastly, remember that you are the captain of your own ship, the master of your own destiny. No matter who is elected, you are still in control of your own life. You can still manifest your one, three and five year vision. It doesn’t matter what the economy is doing, how your competition is doing or even what your neighbors are doing. Success can always be created at any time, during any presidential term, during any time of recession or growth – it’s all up to you. And I have faith in you. I know that you can manifest anything and everything you dream of.
Are you ready to win the election no matter who is elected?
Last week, I completed the famous Vitamin Apple Test. I chose three multivitamins to compare to USANA’s Cellsentials by putting a fresh apple slice in water with the chosen vitamins, plus a control of plain reverse osmosis water. This photo shows the results of how each apple looked after 5 days in the water (the yellow was only in for 4 days). I’ve created a YouTube playlist with all of my Facebook live videos for you to watch and share!
