Service-This year, I have committed to ‘service’ as my word of the year. And it’s been showing up beautifully in my life so far in 2016, I am given opportunities to be of service every day. Being of service to others is a simple and powerful way to expect gratitude.

Gratitude Tip: When you use your God given gifts and talents, you are being of service to others. When sparkle and show up as your best self, you are being of service to others. When you decide that someone else’s success is more important than your own, you are being of service to others. When you are authentic and vulnerable, you are being of service to others. And what’s amazing is that others will express their gratitude towards you just for being YOU. What a fabulous gift!

I had never thought that creating the 30 Day Whole Body Detox program was a way that I was being of service to others. I created it because at the time, I felt that there wasn’t a whole food program that supported digestion and cellular nutrition, that partnered well with the USANA supplements. I also did it for my own health, to see if I was intolerant to gluten, which is turns out I am. In the back of my mind, I always had a much bigger vision for the program. And here we are with the 5th edition of the program and I am seeing my vision come to life. Why do I look at it as a way of being of service? What I have seen so far is that many, many people’s lives have been changed by completing the program, and many clients come back year after year to repeat it. And beyond that, for the program coaches, they have the opportunity to not only do the program themselves, but to bring others along with them and impact their lives AND create more revenue for their USANA businesses. And with the French translation project almost done, we will reach even more people in 2016.

What I have come to realize is that when I use my gifts and am authentic, it makes a difference. I want to say thank you to so many of you who have shared your faith with me, both publicly and privately, since I posted the blog I Surrender. It has brought me closer to some very special people in my life and I am so incredibly grateful for it. This commitment to writing every day came from a place of wanting to share my passion for gratitude on a deeper level, going beyond simply sending out a daily gratitude tip. And it turns out it’s been another way to be of service. I don’t know who reads these blog posts but I do know that on any given day, this post has an impact on someone, somewhere. And that’s more than reason enough to keep on writing.

Where in your life can you sparkle more? Where can you use your gifts to be of service to others? What you do to be more authentic and vulnerable? Life is far too short to keep your gifts to yourself. We’re all waiting to see you sparkle and SHINE.
