Do you get the Notes From the Universe in your inbox daily? I was inspired by the note this morning which reminded me that what is showing up in my life right now is a result of what I thought yesterday or even long before that – our present results are a product of our previous thinking. So in order to change our results, we’ve got to change our thinking.
Gratitude Tip: ‘Nothing is meant to be, except for your freedom to choose and your power to create. – Mike Dooley‘. Today is always a blank slate and another opportunity to create your life as you desire. You are the one who is in control of your circumstances and if you are complaining about something or frustrated about a situation, the only thing that you can do is change your thinking about it. We cannot change what others with think. do or say, only our perception of the situation.
This is it. Today could be the BEST day ever. Or it could be the worst. It’s completely up to you! My friend Wendy used to have this greeting on her answering machine – it would end with ‘create a wonderful day!’ which is so powerful, as most of us would say to ‘have a nice day’ which doesn’t give us much control. When you think about creating a wonderful day, that’s often what you’ll get in return.
When we spend time and energy complaining about other people or being frustrated with their lack of action or growth, turn it around and focus on your own growth and your own action. I love what Eric Worre says (founder of NetworkMarketingPro.com), the cure for anything is ACTION. Feeling down about your lack of success? Make a phone call. Frustrated with a lack of results? Get out and meet some new friends. Tired of not being supported? Give your unconditional support to others. Whatever is happening in our lives right now, whatever is showing up, is a direct reflection of what is going on inside of us. Truth. No exceptions. No returns. So if you don’t like what’s going on in your life, turn it to yourself and start there.
A gratitude practice can really help when we are having difficult making it our BEST day ever. Focusing on what we are truly and deeply grateful for can be so powerful. Writing out a list of 100 things we are grateful for right now – taking that time out of our day to be present in gratitude will immediately shift our perspective and change our view of what’s showing up in our lives. Prayer is also very powerful. Pray for what you seek and desire, and pray it will all of your heart, believing with every cell in your body that with Jesus anything and I mean anything is possible. Allow God to work with you and through you at every moment of the day. Give your troubles to God and let Him carry you through it.
It’s up to you! Are you ready to make today your BEST day ever? The great news is that today can be your BEST day ever and so can tomorrow!!!
