The Joy of Meeting Up With Friends
After an early morning drive to Buffalo and a flight via Chicago, we made it to Salt Lake City early yesterday afternoon. It feels like a homecoming for me, having been here 9 times before. I absolutely love running into my USANA family everywhere! In the lobby of the hotel, walking on the street or even while we were out at dinner.
In our socially connected world, it may seem as though we are losing touch with real world friendships but in my experience it’s the opposite. I am meeting many ‘Facebook’ friends for the first time in ‘real life’ this week but I feel as though we already know each other and are a part of each other’s lives.
Gratitude tip: There is so much joy in reconnecting (or connecting for the first time) with new and old friends. Next time you meet up with someone you haven’t seen in a while, take the time to truly greet them, connect with them and share (at the very least) a few moments together. It’s easy to be grateful when you’re surrounded by friends.
Over the next few days, I will be spending time with my global USANA family. I’ll have the chance to attend many different workshops and attend several larger general sessions at the Energy Solutions Arena. I’ll be sharing with you a few key insights I have gained each day. To follow us on Instagram or Facebook, check out #USANA15 and #USANAunited. And if you’re here and we’ve never met, please find me and say hello! I love meeting new friends.
