The Power of Intention and Vision

Dreaming BIG for 2015! julie boyer, daily gratitude, gratitude projectAs the Rolling Stones put it, ‘You can’t always get what you want, but you just might find, you get what you need.’ This was my vision for 2015, posted back in Sept 2014. I had forgotten about it until a few days ago.

Gratitude Tip: Setting your intention and creating a vision of your life is your responsibility. How that vision manifests into reality is the responsibility of God or The Universe.

A few weeks after I created this vision board, I found out that I was pregnant (unplanned). All of a sudden, the entire plan changed and we cancelled our trip to Mexico. Unfortunately, about 12 weeks later, I lost the child due to a miscarriage and ended up being hospitalized for 2 weeks with a life-threatening bacterial infection. I almost lost my life. Thanks to the doctors, nurses and the grace of God and the power of prayer, I am still here today.

Here’s what ended up manifesting in 2015. I did travel to Vancouver in February with my daughter. My husband and I spent his birthday in Vegas in April. We took a family vacation to Vancouver in July. I traveled to Salt Lake City in August, and a few days later did a round-trip to New York City and back. Next month, I’m off to Vancouver again and we have just booked our flights for another family trip to Florida for Christmas. Not exactly what was on the vision board, but a year full of trips for me and my family.

Do not underestimate the power of putting your vision into photos. This image was made using power point with images from Google. There’s a new free program for making posters called Canva if you want to make your own digital vision board. Be as clear as possible when choosing your images. And once you’ve created it, turn it over to God or the Universe to figure out how it’s all going to work out. Your job is to take inspired action and move forward on a daily basis.
