What Seeds Are You Planting?

Gratitude Tip: In order for you to cultivate success and wealth in your life, you’ve got to change the seeds that you are planting. The more negative influences you see and read during the day, the more challenging it becomes to plant positive seeds. To be able to live a life of gratitude, the seeds of your mind must be sown from a place of gratitude and love, not fear or lack.

It’s been more than two years since I wrote 30 Days of Gratitude, The Gratitude Program That Will Change Your Life. And I have noticed that by focusing on living daily gratitude, the seeds I am planting are more likely to come from a place of gratitude and love, rather than fear or lack. I am also much more aware of when I do allow my thinking to tilt into the negative and am very sensitive to others who are negative as well.

This gratitude tip remains one of my favorite quotes from my Live Daily Gratitude emails. It’s the basis for change. It takes a huge effort to avoid negative news and influences in our day. Facebook has become the number one news source for many of us now – this is where we first learn of disasters and shootings and other upsetting news. I am a huge fan of Facebook and still use it daily. What I choose to do is when a negative news article is trending, I’ll hide the post and request to see fewer posts like that one. It works well to reduce negative news on my timeline.

What do you do to keep yourself from being influenced by negative people and news?
