When your computer isn’t working, who do you call? The support line. When your cell phone is acting up, who do you reach out to? The support line. When you’re building a 7-figure business from home and you need help with your kids or with tasks around the home, who do you rely on? For many of us, it’s our spouse or partner. And when they are down and out, things get a little more challenging.
Gratitude Tip: It is so easy to take our spouses for granted and perhaps not notice or thank them for all that they do for us. We may also feel like our spouse is taking us for granted as well. When one of you is not well, all of a sudden we see how much the other person may or may not have contributed. Be proactive and express your gratitude for all of the little things your partner does for you.
As many of you know, I’ve been working on a big business goal for the past three weeks, as well as continue to grow our 30 Day Whole Body Detox program both in English and French. And last week, my daughter was home with a low grade fever for 4 days so I was taking care of her as well. On Friday she was well enough to go back to school, but my husband was sick. Turns out she was likely carrying bronchitis and gave it to my hubby. On Friday night, we ended up at the walk-in clinic because he was having trouble breathing deeply. Thankfully, he was given a good dose of antibiotics for the bronchitis which allowed him to start to heal. I know that he does a lot around the house, and I hope that I don’t take it for granted – but wow – I really felt the difference with him being sick in bed for two days!! I am very blessed to have a fairly equal partnership when it comes to childcare and taking care of our home. I also realize that having a partner to share the load is truly invaluable and I have a huge amount of respect for those who are parenting alone.
Thankfully, he’s almost back to himself today. And I am truly grateful for this as the next few days will be quite FULL and exciting for our tribe. Stay tuned for a big announcement on Friday!
It’s already Day 21 of the 30 Day Whole Body Detox for me! We have groups who are starting week 1, 2 and 3 today. Our next BIG group start will be on Monday April 25th, now that spring seems to have sprung our second big wave of detoxers are excited to start. Local to Burlington? We are doing an informal juicing meet-up this Thursday evening at the new juice bar downtown Burlington, Bodhi Bar, 2027 Lakeshore Road, from 7 – 8 pm. It’s a private event so please RSVP by replying to this email. It’s a great way to try a fresh juice and to chat with those who are currently doing the detox program.
