The answer is whatever or whoever you are giving the most energy to. It’s as simple as that. Where is your attention? I came across this wonderful quote this morning in The Purpose Driven Life by Pastor Rick Warren, ‘When God’s the center of your life you worship. When he’s not, you worry.‘
Gratitude Tip: When you focus your life on gratitude and being grateful for the people surrounding you, you attract more people and things to you to be grateful for. When there are people in your life who are treating you poorly or harmfully, it’s best to get out of the situation as quickly as possible. And if it’s not, do your best to remember that they are a human being as well and that they are lost children of God if they are treating others so poorly. Quietly forgive their actions and keep the faith that whatever difficulties you are going through right now, God is by your side.
It’s been a very interesting month for me in my business. I have been working at a much faster pace than usual but at the same time, I am more relaxed about my business. I have put my faith in God that everything is always working out in my best interest (and the best interest of my team), so when someone says no or not right now to what I have to offer, I simply let it go and move on to the next person. I have stopped needing to worry about things because I have completely put my faith in God. Do I occasionally slip up and get stressed? Sure, but not as often as before and certainly not to the same degree. As I wrap up a big business goal in the next 24 hours, I am calm and have faith that it’s all unfolding exactly as it should. And dealing with a sprained ankle at the same time is simply a part of the journey.
Do I believe that one of the reasons I got injured was so that I would slow down? Yes. I also believe that it’s a way for me to reach out for help and support from others, who have been incredibly generous with their time and kindness already. And perhaps it’s an opportunity for a USANA product story, as I am healing very, very quickly which is a surprise to me and to those who have seen my ankle. There is no sense in worrying about it, it’s best just to go with the flow and do the best I can no matter what.
It’s already Day 24 of the #30daywholebodydetox for me! It’s gone by very quickly. And from what my clients have been telling me, they are finding the same. The first week is the biggest challenge for most people, and then the program becomes a part of your life. It’s so easy to follow and you’re not stuck eating things you don’t enjoy or feeling left out at a restaurant or party. Tonight is our juice meet up at the Bodhi Bar in downtown Burlington. Please RSVP directly to me, as space is limited and we’re almost full! Families welcome. And if you’d still like to join us for the detox program, it’s not too late! We have another very big group starting this Monday April 25th. If you’re local to Burlington, you’ll be able to join us. If not, we’ll ship you your products and you can start the following Monday. Ready to join us?
