Why We Must Dream BIG

annecyNow is the most important time to dream big! Today, more than ever before, we must continue to stretch our minds and dream the biggest dreams we can think of. Create a vision board! Write out a vision statement! Design your life over the next 2 -3 years right NOW.

Gratitude Tip: Fear is what shrinks our dreams. Take control of your life and let yourself dream about things that might seem completely out of your comfort zone – like moving to another country or finding your dream job or dream home. Focus on expansion! Do not allow yourself to get caught up in the negative thinking and fear-mongering that is floating around the web right now. Start with gratitude for your life as it is today and then, in the present tense, be grateful for the life you are creating.

A week ago, I was solid in my intention to move to France at the end of August next year, to live in Annecy for a year. Since Friday, I have been less certain about our dream. I have decided that it’s crucial for us to continue to focus on our intention to move and live out our dream of being (back) in the mountains. I have faith that everything will all work out for the best. And if it’s not Annecy in August, then something even more amazing will come our way.

As Jim Rohn puts it so eloquently, ‘Let others lead small lives, but not you. Let others argue over small things, but not you. Let others cry over small hurts, but not you. Let others leave their future in someone else’s hands, but not you.’

Where is your focus right now? Is it based on fear or based on love and gratitude? How can you change your focus today? One way is to watch this amazing video shared by 4 friends from 4 different countries. Grab a tissue. #loveoverfear
